HOSPITAL

Radiology/Laboratory/Cat Scan

Our CLIA licensed laboratory maintains modern technological analyzers. We provide tests in the following areas: hematology, chemistry, bacteriology, blood banking, immunology, coagulation and urinalysis. We perform tests for our local medical providers, as well as out-of-town physicians. The vast majority of the tests are performed in-house, whereas a small percentage are mailed to referenced labs. Our department is computerized and utilizes a lab information system to access and view laboratory results electronically.

Our radiology department consists of two modern x-ray machines, one of which is portable for use in the ER and the patient rooms. In 2008, we installed a new 4-slice CT scanner, which has the most recent technology. All radiology images are processed by computerized radiography and are stored in a picture archiving computer system to access and view radiology images electronically.
