Malta, Montana, a community of 2,000 people, is located in the Missouri River Breaks country of northeast Montana. Malta is the county seat of Phillips County. The county contains 5,131 square miles and about 5,000 people.
Malta has an active business district with over 200 well-stocked businesses. The economy has a solid agriculture and ranching foundation. Opportunities for outdoor activities include: hiking, boating, fishing, camping, hunting, golfing and water skiing to name a few. Adventure is plentiful with the Milk and Missouri Rivers and Nelson Reservoir nearby, plus the wonders of the rolling plains of eastern Montana.
The community has excellent schools (including a new, state-of-the-art junior high and high school), clean air, good shopping and no congestion, pollution, or big-city crime. Malta is a warm, friendly town; ideal for raising a family.
The larger Montana cities of Great Falls and Billings are both 200 miles away.

MEDICAL CAMPUS
A $4.4 million dollar new hospital and clinic remodel was completed in June, 2004. The community now has an up-to-date clinic and hospital all under one roof. It has greatly improved patient flow and provides a quality environment for diagnosis, care and treatment of patients, all under one roof, for continuity and transition between all levels of care.
